JAMES BLOODWORTH
Benton,Ky.---James Howard Bloodworth,78,of Benton died at 5:09am Tuesday at Lourdes Hospital in Paducah.
Mr. Bloodworth was a veteran of World War ll and a charter member of Lakeland Baptist Temple in Calvert City.
Surviving are his wife,Pearlene Holmes Bloodworth;two step daughters,Peggy Young of Benton and Judith Dunn of Calvert City;one son Jimmy Bloodworth of Bessemer,Ala;two sisters, Etta Mae Lucus of Kevil and Esther Stringer of Ledbetter; one brother,Ed Bloodworth of Ledbetter;nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
He was preceeded in death by four brothers and four sisters. His parents were H.E. and Lou Emma Stinnett Bloodworth.
Services will be held at 1pm Thursday at Filbeck & Cann Funeral Home in Benton. The Revs. John Terry and Terry Henderson will officiate. Burial will be in Dees Cemetery in Calvert City.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 5pm today.
