George Morey Copeland was the son of Samuel and Mercy Rich (Titus) Copeland. Laura Ann (Sturges) Copeland was his 1st wife. They were married April 5, 1839. Laura died November 18, 1869. Charlotte "Lottie" M. (Mathews) Hanson Copeland was his 2nd wife. They were married November 2, 1870. Charlotte died November 20, 1912.
