William Alfred 'Bud' Beasley, 82, of Decatur died 10:44 p.m. Monday (July 25, 1994) in St. Mary's Hospital.
Services will be 10 a.m. Friday in Brintlinger's Funeral Home with visitation from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday. Graveside services will be noon Friday in St. Mary's Cemetery, Champaign. Memorials: Visiting Nurse Association or donor's choice.
Mr. Beasley was born May 11, 1912, in Champaign, the son of Clarence A. and Ellen Marie Tierney Beasley. He was a member of St. James Catholic Church, B.P.O.E. 401 and Moose Lodge 684. He retired in 1975 after 40 years with Thompson Lumber Co. He married Jennie E. 'Betty' Quinlan in 1945.
Surviving are his wife; sister, Johanna E. 'Nell' Carson of the Woodlands, Texas; brother, Jack of Bradenton, Fla.; numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and three sisters.
