Raymond Dale Case, son of Merle and Margaret (Schneider) Case, was born April 11, 1933 in Mitchell, SD. He grew up in Letcher, SD and graduated from Letcher High School. In 1951 after he graduated, Ray moved to Mitchell and was employed at Wilson's Tire Service.
In 1954 Ray was united in marriage with Leora Marilyn Noble. In 1956, Ray was drafted and served two years in Germany with the US Army. After his honorable discharge he returned to Mitchell and again was employed at Wilson's Tire Service. In 1974 Ray became part owner in Import Motors where he worked until he retired in 2002.
Grateful for having shared his life are his son, Daniel (Patricia) Case, Sioux Falls, SD; a daughter, Jackie (Duane) Boer, Huron, SD; eight grandchildren, Danny, Erin, Brian, Teresa and Kelly Case all of Sioux Falls, SD, Megan, Brady and Rachel all of Huron, SD, one great grand daughter, Mackenzie Case; a brother, Jack (Doris) Case, Mitchell, SD.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Leora in 1999; his parents; two brothers, Tom and Bill Case; and a sister, Betty Schuster.
Funeral services at the Will Funeral Chapel with burial at Graceland Cemetery with military graveside rites.
