Dawn C. "Sunrise" Pramuk Durham, NC/Whiting Dawn C. "Sunrise" Pramuk, age 37, of Durham, NC formerly of Whiting, passed away Wednesday, April 27, 2005, at the Duke University Hospital, Raleigh Durham, NC. She was the beloved daughter of Cecilia (Brazina) Pramuk and the late Paul F. Pramuk; loving sister of: Gean (Michael) Sokol of Hammond, Karin (James) Horn of Hobart, Jessica Pramuk and Michael Pramuk, both of Whiting, John (Suzanne) Pramuk of Chicago, Jason (fiance Hope Martin) Pramuk of Phoenix, AZ; dear aunt of Aaron Horn; many aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral service will be held Wednesday, May 4, 2005, 9:30 am at the Baran Funeral Home,1235 119th Street, Whiting. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10 am. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Whiting, with Rev.John E. Kalicky, C.PP.S. officiating. Cremation to follow. Visitation at the funeral home Tuesday 5 to 8 pm. Members of the parish will offer prayers at the funeral home Tuesday at 5 pm. Dawn Pramuk was born on February 13, 1968, in Joliet, IL. A lifelong resident of the Calumet region having resided in Durham, NC, for the past four years. A member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Whiting, a graduate of George Rogers Clark High School Class of 1986. She received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry from Indiana University, Bloomington, in 1995 and a Bachelor of Science Degree in mathematics from I.U. Northwest in 2001. A member of Alpha Chi Sigma Sorority and the American Chemical Society. She was an employee of Reichhold Chemical Co. Durham, North Carolina with a service of 4 years. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family would be appreciated. 219-659-4400.
