Mrs. Thrash died Saturday at the family residence at Route 2, Morton, following a lengthy illness. A native of Smith County, she was formerly a resident of Rankin County, Laurel and Jackson. She had been a resident of the Line Prairie Community for the past 32 years, and was a Baptist.
Survivors include her husband, G.S. Thrash, Sr., Morton; three daughters, Mrs. J.C. (Louise) Carroll, Morton, and Mrs. W.H. (Hazel) Hill and Mrs. Don (Chris) Spencer, both of Brandon, one son, George S. Thrash, Jr. of Morton; 5 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Clanton King, Frank Pickel, Kenna Owen, Troy King, Jack Bates and G.J. Thrash.
