Grace Hortense Gladden Bellanger, daughter of Ernest Winfield and Jessie Camp Gladden, was raised by her great aunt and uncle, Minnie and Fred Coyles. Ernest and Jessie had 10 children, and only Grace was raised by someone other than her parents (Fred and Minnie were Jessie's great aunt and uncle - Minnie couldn't have children).
Grace married John Bellanger (born Ovila Beland), the son of Jean Baptiste Beland and Amanda Gosselin around 1928 and they had 6 children - 5 sons and 1 daughter: John, Robert, Donald, Richard, Ralph and Beverly (Susie).
