Bessie Eunice Arnett married Willie B. Daniel. They had four children: Ralph Jones, Hazel Josiephine, Phocean Grey & Jack Daniel.

Funeral Services Held Sunday For Mrs. Bessie DanieL..... Funeral services for Mrs. Bessie Daniel, 51, wife of Willie Daniel of the Short Mountain community were held Sunday at 2:30 PM at the Woods Church of Christ in the 9th district. Billy Nicks of Oak Ridge, Tennessee, officiated. Burial was in the Woods Cemetery under the direction of the Woodbury Funeral Home. Mrs. Daniel died of a stroke on Friday afternoon in the Good Samaritan Hospital. She was a lifelong resident of Cannon County. Her parents were Joe and Zane Melton Arnett. She was a member of the Church of Christ. In addition to her husband she is survived by three sons, Ralph and Phocian Grey Daniel, Woodbury, and Jack Daniel, stationed in Wyoming in the Air Force; a daughter Mrs. Hazel Winford of Woodbury; two brothers, Phocian Arnett, Woodbury and Richard Arnett, Nashville; a sister Mrs. Ola Le Patterson, Nashville and four grandchildren. Pallbearers were Wilson Gunter, Miland and Robert Daniel, Jim Daniel Jr., Carmen Gannon and Clarence Gannon. Published in the Cannon Courier, Woodbury, TN., August 8, 1952.
