My grandfather.

Thomas was a carpenter and served overseas in WW I as a Carpenters Mate 3rd Class (CM3). He was stationed at the Naval Aviation Repair Base at Eastleigh, England. Shortly after the war, he married Verda Helsley and they moved to Fresno, California to begin a family. Thomas and Verda had four children: Betty Jean, Thomas Wayne, Marilyn Ann, and Carol Lee, all now deceased.
