PHILLIPS DIES VERY SUDDENLY
Former Douglas Telephone Exchange Manager Dead at Cheyenne

L. C. Phillips, a former manager of the Mountain States Telephone exchange in this city and a son-in-law of Mrs. N. DeCastro of Douglas, died very suddenly at the family home in Cheyenne last (Monday) evening, according to word received by Mrs. DeCastro who departed for that city this (Tuesday) evening.

Mr. Phillips, it seems, partook of his dinner while in his normal good health but very shortly later was taken violently ill and the end came soon. He is survived by a widow, the former Miss Frances DeCastro and three children, the oldest of which, a son, is a freshman at Wyoming university.

Mr. and Mrs. Phillips left Douglas about 15 years ago. He was engaged in the electrical contracting business in Cheyenne.
