Mr. Allen passed way in University Hospital in Jackson Sunday following an extended illness. He was a lifelong resident of Rankin County, and a member of Rehobeth Baptist Church.
Survivors are his widow, Mrs. Troylene Trest Allen; one son, Roger Allen of Route 1, Pelahatchie; four daughters, Mrs. Plez Walker, Mrs. Sylvester Gray and Mrs. Robert Jones, all of Route 1, Pelahatchie, and Mrs. Doris Holmes of Morton; nine grandchildren; his mother, Mrs. Ellen Allen of Brandon; two sisters, Mrs. Jim Holmes and Mrs. Paul Millings, both of Brandon; and three brothers, Leo Allen of Morton, Jim Allen of Pelahatchie, and Eunice Allen of Brandon.
