She attended Idaho Falls schools from 1st grade to High School. She attended a year at Ricks College in Rexburg. She served a mission which began in England, and then she got sick and finished her mission in Southern California.
She married Arvin Lords in April 1982, and they were later divorced.
She was affected by a brain tumor and she went in the hospital for an operation, and it was removed. The tumor later returned and it is in part, the reason for her passing at the age of 56 years. She passed away at Good Samaritan in Idaho Falls, Idaho.
She is survived by 5 of her siblings, her parents, and many nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by her older sister Glenna, and her paternal grandparents Jesse Earl and Alice Lucinda Freeman Metcalf (Wells) as well as her maternal grandparents Henry James and Eva May Griffeth Bodily.
