J.C. Wasson, the loving husband, affectionate father and honored citizen is no more. Mr. Wasson was born in Maury county, Tenn., October 30th, 1817, came to Lawrence county Ala., about 1834, married to Miss Nancy Reneau November 30th, 1843. They raised six children, five of whom are loved, respected and hightly esteemed, as Christian men and women. The other just as he was budding into manhood, was called to his home on high. Mr. Wasson died June 6, 1892.
