" In the name of the Benevolent father of All.

I Thomas Callahan of the County of Morgan, State of Indiana, being of sound mind & memory, do make and publish this my last Will and Testament.

II. I will and bequeath all my Real and personal property, to my beloved wife Rachel, to have and to hold, as long as she lives, after paying my just debts and funeral expenses. And after her death, the remainder of all she possesses is to be sold, and the proceeds equally divided between my children herein named, from the fact that I have given to the rest of my children their full share. I have given in summaries to James B. Callahan Two hundred dollars, to Nancy Curtis dec'd. Two hundred dollars, To Elizabeth Curtis One hundred and Twenty five dollars, To Bright Callahan One Hundred and fifty dollars, To William G. Callahan, Three hundred and Eight five Dollars, To Michael Callahan Two Hundred Dollars, To Mahala A. Ingraham, dec'd. Fifty Dollars.

I will that the proceeds of what remains of moneys, and when all the property of my beloved wife Rachel is sold after her death, be equally divided between Mary E. Callahan, Jane Callahan, Thomas Callahan, Rachel Callahan, Martha Callahan, Matilda Callahan & Henry K. Callahan.

I do appoint and wish Daniel Richard, to be my Executor, to fulfill and carry out my last Will and testament, and further, I revoke all former Wills. In testimony whereof, I hereunto set my hand and seal, in the presence of these witnesses, both residing in Morgan County in the State of Indiana this 2nd. day of September A D 1866 Thomas Callahan {Seal}

Johnson, Clerk of the Morgan Common Pleas Court, personally came Elijah Wilhite, who being duly sworn and examined States that said decedent Thomas Callahan, did in his presence, and in the presence of Thomas J. Scrimsher, on the 2. day of September 1866, sign, seal, publish, and declare, the foregoing writing, to be his last will and testament : That said Thomas J. Scrimsher and affidavit signed the same, as witness, in the testators presence, and in the presence of each other. That said testator was at that time of sound mind and memory, of full age to devise his property, and not under coercion or restraint. Elijah x Wilhite

Johnson, Clerk of the Court of Common Pleas, of said County, do hereby certify that the within annexed last will and testament of Thomas Callahan, has been duly admitted to probate, and duly proved by the testimony of Elijah Wilhite, one of the witnesses thereto. Tha[t] a complete record of said Will and of said proof, has been by me duly made and recorded in Book "C" of the records of Wills of said County.

In attestation whereof, I hereto set my hand and the seal of said Court, at Martinsville, this 23. day of April 1867.
