Mrs. Marlin was born in California, MO. and lived 10 years in Grinnell, IA before moving to Des Moines, where she lived for most of her life. She retired as a salesclerk for Younkers department stores in 1967 and was a member of Order of the Eastern Star and St. Johns Lutheran church.
Survivors include her husband, Charles Marlin; three sons, Roland, John and Richard and daughter, Jane Clemenson, all from Des Moines; 13 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; and her brother Leland Searls.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Roland H. Huff.
Grandma was the most loving woman in the world and not a day goes by that I don't miss her.
