Funeral services for Mr. Billy Thomas Faulkner, Sr., age 78, of Tullahoma will be conducted at 2 PM Monday at Higgins Funeral Home with Rev. David Wall officiating. Burial will follow in Booneville Cemetery. Mr. Faulkner passed away Saturday afternoon at Southern TN Medical Center in Winchester.
A native of Lincoln County, he was a son of the late William Dixon and Vivian Rebecca Solomon Faulkner, served in the Air Force during the Korean Conflict, retired from NASA in 1981, worked at Chrysler Corp. in Huntsville, was a farmer, a volunteer fireman in the North Franklin County Volunteer Fire Department, served as a water board commissioner with the Center Grove Winchester Springs Utility District, and was a member of Booneville Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife Frances Ruth Winland Faulkner of Tullahoma, son Billy T. Faulkner, II and wife Martha Louise of Tullahoma, granddaughter Maggie Reese and husband William, great-granddaughter Barbara Danyel Reese, sister Betty June Whitsett and husband Bob of Fayetteville, brothers Joe Faulkner and wife Debbie of Fayetteville, and James "Jab" Faulkner of Booneville Community.
