Waubee Lake, Lakewood, Wis.
Age 52, died Friday evening at the Veterans Administration Hospital, Iron Mountain, Michigan, after a long illness. He was born Nov. 11, 1917 in Shiocton, formerly lived in Appleton and for the past 22 years, he and his wife had owned and operated the Prospect Lodge, in Lakewood.
She preceded him in death Feb. 4, 1970.
He was a member of the American Legion Post 44 in Wabeno and the V.F.W. Post of Manitowoc. He was a World War II Navy veteran.
Survivors are his mother, Mrs. Lynda Wagner, Appleton; two sisters, Mrs. George (Virginia) Lingelbach, Bellville, Ill., Mrs. Gordon (Florence) Munson, Sheboygan; one brother, Dr. Robert G. Wagner, San Francisco, California.
Friends may call at Ermenc Funeral Home at Wabeno after 2 p.m. Sunday. Services will be at the funeral home with the Rev. Harold Berryman officiating and burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Lakewood. Military rites will be conducted by the Wabeno American Legion Post 44.
