Dorothy E. (Farley) Aagesen, 77, of Bethlehem, formerly of Croydon, passed away Saturday, March 22, 2008, in her home. She was the wife of the late Herbert Aagesen. Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Emily (Farley) Lees. Dorothy was a member of Epworth Methodist Church, Bethlehem Township, and a former member of Wilkinson Memorial Methodist Church, Croydon, where she was the choir director and organist for many years.
Survivors: Son, John Aagesen of Lansdale; daughter, Karen Schadle and husband Robert of Bethlehem; sisters, Marion Robinson of Philadelphia, Joan Gaberlein of Mount Laurel, N.J.; four grandchildren, Jason and Emily Aagesen, Matthew and Michael Schadle.
Services: The family will hold a memorial service at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 27, 2008, in Epworth Methodist Church, 3245 Oakland Rd., Bethlehem. Arrangements, Downing Funeral Home, Bethlehem. Online condolences may be made at www.downingfuneralhome.com.
