Alfred William "Sonny" Autenrieth, 69, of Tebbetts, died Sunday, July 2, 2000, at his home.

He was born October 25, 1930, in Tebbetts to the late Alfred Edward and Viola Caroline (Howard) Autenrieth. He married Mary Jane Jones on February 1, 1955, in Newton Falls, Ohio. She survives of the home.

Other survivors include, one son, Bill Jurgle of Russellville, five daughters, Debbie Pantaleo of Tupelo, Mississippi, Susie Nelson of Jefferson City, Lisa Schnieders of Hollister, Lori Leeper of Tebbetts and Tammy Autenrieth of St. Charles, one sister, Lena Mae Stock of Tebbetts, one brother, Kennard Autenrieth of Tebbetts, thirteen grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

He was also preceeded in death by one sister.

He served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War.

He was a farmer in Callaway County for many years. He was a member of the L.O.O.F Lodge Number 596, a Life Member of the Holts Summit Optimist Club, the South Callaway Fire District where he also served as a board member and the Tebbetts United Methodist Church. He taught tractor mechanics as a 4-H Leader. He was a graduate of South Callaway County R-11 High School.

Services will be 10am Thursday at Tebbetts United Methodist Church in Tebbetts with Reverend Bruce Bernard and Bill Howard officiating. Burial will follow in Riverview Cemetary in Tebbetts.

Visitation is 5-8pm Wednesday at Maupin Funeral Home in Fulton, with an I.O.O.F Lodge number 596 service at 7:30pm.

Memorials are suggested to the American Lung Association of Eastern Missouri.
