MRS. NORA A. JOHNSON, 84,
widow of Burnice F. Johnson and
a lifelong resident of Lake George,
died Sunday morning, Nov. 23, at
the home of her son, Wyman Johnson,
in Starbuckville after a long
Illness.
Mrs. Johnson was a member of
the Methodist Church of Lake
George, and had long been active
In the W.S.C.S. of that church.
Surviving besides her son are
another son, Milford of Ballston
Spa; a daughter, Mrs. Helen Vernum
of Lake George, and eight
grandchildren and eight greatgrandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted
Wednesday, Nov. 26 , at 2 p.m.
at the Barton Funeral Home, Chestertown,
with the Rev. Richard
Mellerup, pastor of the Lake
George Methodist Church, officiating.
Interment was in Underwood
Cemetery, Adirondack.
