ANDREW RICHARD JOVA, 17, of BRICK, passed on Saturday, Aug. 23, at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune. Born in Hackensack, Andrew lived in Nutley before moving to Brick in 2000. He would have been a senior at Brick High School.
He is survived by his parents, Paul and Jennifer Perry Jova of Brick; two sisters, Lia of Nutley, and Carley, at home; his maternal grandparents, Richard and Karen Perry of Brick; and his paternal grandmother, Catherine Jova of Whiting, Manchester.
Visiting hours will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Silverton Memorial Funeral Home, 2482 Church Road, Toms River. The funeral will be Friday; arrive at the funeral home at 9 a.m. Services to follow at 10 a.m. at St. Paul Methodist Church, Brick. Cremation is private. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the St. Paul Youth Ministry, 714 Herbertsville Road, Brick, would be appreciated.
