Mary Emma (call name Emma), was born in Red Bank Furnance, Clarion County, Pennsylvania, the first born of 10 children to Jacob Pratt Curry and Sarah Jane Curry (nee Buzard). She married Albert Franklin Osman about 1888.

MRS. MARY E. OSMAN.
Mrs. Mary E. Osman, wife of A. F. Osman, of Butler Township, died yesterday, after an illness of six months. She was a native of Clarion county, and previous to coming to Butler resided in DuBois, to which place the remains will be taken for burial tomorrow. She ws 43 years of age, and is suvived by her husband and a family.

DuBois Morning Courier, Tuesday, July 13 1909:
MRS. ALBERT OSMAN DIED AT BUTLER.
Mrs. Albert Osman, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. P. Curry, of this place, and a former resident of DuBois, died Sunday at her home at Butler. Death was caused by tuberculosis with which she had been suffering for some months. She is survived by her husband and eight children residing at Butler and five brothers and three sisters, as follows: Grant, George, Roy, Jay and Mrs. Spencer, of this town; Harry, of West Virginia; Mrs. Lerch, of Falls Creek, and Mrs. Green, of Punxsutawney. The remains will be brought to this town this afternoon on the flyer and will be taken directly to the Clear Run church, where services will be held and interment will be made in the Greenwood cemetery.
