Eugene F. Maile, 54, of 222 Wisconsin Ave., Brillion, died early this morning at a Green Bay Hospital after a lengthy illness.

He was born July 4, 1925, at Woodville, Calumet County, a son of Daniel and Louise Schaefer Maile. He was a 1945 graduate of Kaukauna High School.

On October 30, 1954, he married Janet Sartori at Chilton.

He was employed by the Brillion Iron Works for 32 years.

He was an army veteran and a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Brillion, and formerly a member of the Church Council and Cemetery board.

Survivors are his step-mother, Louise Maile of Neenah; his wife; a daughter, Lisa, at home; a son, David, at home, and a sister Mrs. Elaine Hartfield of Neenah.

Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Trinity Lutheran Church by the Rev. Terry Deters, pastor. Burial was in the church cemetery.
