Mrs. Lois Mary Bush Wilcox

Lois Mary Bush was born July 16, 1897 in Hampden Township, Columbia county, Wisconsin, and passed away at the Portage hospital January 16, 1937, aged 39 years and 6 months.

She grew to young womanhood and received her early education in Hampden. In 1916 the family moved to North Marcellon and she continued her education at Bethel Academy.

On November 24th, 1920 she was united in marriage to Sidney Wilcox of Fort Winnebago. The first two and one half years of their married life was spent in Las Vegas and Albuquerque, New Mexico. In 1923, Mr. and Mrs. Wilcox returned to North Marcellon where they have since lived with the exception of one year in Endeavor, Wisconsin.

The deceased leaves to mourn her untimely passing her husband, Sidney Wilcox and four children, Donald Willard age 15, Lois Isabel 13, Ann Janet 11, and Carol Mary, 7. besides one sister Miss Grace Bush of Hinsdale, Illinois, and a large number of nieces and nephews. The other members of her immediate family, a father and mother and three brothers have preceded her in death.

The funeral services were held at the home at 1 o'clock Tuesday, January 19th, Rev. H. G. Wright of North Marcellon Baptist church officiated.
