Don Elton Bohling, 60, of Greenfield died Sept. 19, 2007, at Adair County Memorial Hospital in Greenfield.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, Sept. 24, at the Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Fontanelle. The Rev. John Emerson will officiate the service. Burial will be in Fontanelle Cemetery. Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Fontanelle. Memorials may be given in his name. Steen Funeral Home, 101 S.E. Fourth St., Greenfield, has charge of arrangements.
Don Elton Bohling, son of Pauline Alma Martha (Herr) and Henry Elton Bohling, was born Sept. 5, 1947, in Greenfield. On June 15, 1968, Don married Mardelle Snell at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Fontanelle. Don worked for the Adair County engineer's office 35 years, retiring June 6, 2007.
Survivors include his wife Mardelle Bohling of Greenfield; son Mark Bohling of Corpus Christi, Texas; and two brothers, Wayne Bohling of Fontanelle and Lynn (wife Elaine) Bohling of Greenfield.
Don was preceded in death by his parents, son Michael David, stepfather Sam Mitchell and stepsister Leila Zike.
