Lee, was the 8th child out of 12 children born to Annie Lora Bradley and Albert May Wolverton. He was the only child to be come a minister of the Mt. Olivet Baptist Church, outside of Huntsville, Randolph Co, Mo. He was Baptized in this church 1917. He was Minister about 1924. Then after getting married and getting to know Rev. Griffith of the Nazarene Church, he switched to the Nazarene Church.

On June 1925 he married Edith Marie Dameron of Huntsville, Randolph, Missouri. They had 6 children, Verna L.(deceased), Donald L.(deceased), Bonnie J.(deceased), Betty S. (died at soon after birth), Dorothy M., Delbert A. all of Missouri and surrounding States. Then bad health came to Lee and the Dr.s said he would be better off in CA. Lee and Edith packed up the kids and headed for Richmond, Contra Costa, California about 1945. In 1946 Sharon L. was born to them.
Lee was a Associate Pastor to the Richmond First Church of the Nazarene in Richmond, CA.
His bad health finally took his life one Augest day after helping to put out a fire across the street from the church. He died at home at 3041 Damn Road, San Pablo, Contra Costa, CA.
