QUITAQUE - Christine Vardell, 84, died Monday, Dec. 4, 2000, in Lockney.
Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. today in Resthaven Cemetery with the Rev. Arnie Smith, pastor of Fairmont Baptist Church, officiating. Arrangements are by Myers-Long Funeral Directors.
Mrs. Vardell was born in Howard County, Ark. She was a member of Fairmont Baptist Church.
She married Hilton Vardell in 1950 at Clovis, N.M. He died in 1993.
Survivors include a brother, Jack Chandler of Quitaque; and two sisters, Inetha Blankenship of Quitaque and Snow Grundy of Tulia.
