EAST LIVERPOOL - Virginia P. Stockdale, 85, of the Fawcett Apartments died at 11:56 a.m. Monday, May 6, 2002, at City Hospital following a brief illness.
She was born in St. Marys, W.Va., May 3, 1917, a daughter of the late Clem and Mary DeLong Robinson.
She assisted her husband at Fawcett Apartments and was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, the Rev. Carl F. Stockdale.
She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. James (Dolores) McKeone of East Liverpool; and a son, Gene L. Stockdale of Wellsville; eight grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Her son will conduct services at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Dawson Funeral Home. Burial will be in Hammondsville Cemetery.
Visitation is 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday.
Marker is located in front of cemetery about four rows back from white fence.

Gravesite Details
Carl & Virginia Stockdale only had one child, Gene L. Leonard (my husband's father). Dolores Hanna McKeone moved in with the Stockdales sometime in her late teens or early twenties and she was considered a daughter from that point.
