Thomas Coad son of George William Coad (Codd) and Mary Blackburn, was born in 1824 at Wicklow Ireland,

After emmigrating to Ontario, he married Eliza Jane Martin, daughter of Henry Martin and Jane Fennel, on Jan 20, 1848 at Innisville, Ontario Canada.
