She was the beloved wife of the late Emmett P. Glynn.
Evelyn was the loving mother of Debbie Loftus (William) of Oceanside, Calif., Ann Harsy (Leonard) of Oak Forest, Ill., and Christopher Glynn (Georgia) of Morton, Ill. She delighted in her grandchildren, Colleen (James) Beatty and Terrence (Nicole) Loftus, Peter and Kathleen Harsy and Gavin Glynn. She cherished her great-grandchildren, Erin and William (Colleen and James) and Peter (Terrence and Nicole).
Evelyn was a graduate of the University of Chicago and devoted her professional life to education in the New Lenox Public Schools and the University of St. Francis in Joliet.
She was active throughout her life in parish and diocesan activities in Chicago and San Diego.
