Celia Ann Elizabeth Joiner, the mother of Captain John C. Joiner, of the police force, died of old age at Lithia Springs, Ga. early yesterday morning. Mrs. Joiner had been an invalid for some time. She was a lovable woman and her many friends and the friends of the bereaved family sincerely mourn her death.

When I first moved to Georgia, in 1980, I put an ad in the Atlanta Journal asking for anyone with any knowledge of the Wells Joiner family to contact me. In a week or two, I heard from the Kerley family. They invited me into their home one hot summer day, gave me some fresh squeezed lemonade, and told me all about my family, and gave me photocopies of the Joiner family Bible. I am forever grateful for their kindness! Rhonda Brady Rampy
