Mr. Dolan was a graduate of American International College and Western New England College School of Law in Springfield, MA. Prior to leaving public school teaching to practice law, he taught history for many years at Windsor Locks High School, Windsor Locks. He later taught history at East Catholic High School, Manchester, and most recently he enjoyed substitute teaching in the East Granby public schools.
Family and friends may gather Friday, August 19, at 9:15 a.m. at Nicholson & Carmon Funeral Home, 443 East St. (Rt. 159), Suffield, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church, 68 Mountain Rd., Suffield. Burial will be in St. Thomas Cemetery, West Springfield, MA. His family will receive friends Thursday from 4-7 p.m. Nicholson & Carmon Funeral Home, Suffield. He was extremely knowledgable and passionate about U.S. History and was always the go-to person when anyone ever had a question. He was patient and kind to everyone, and is sadly missed by all of us who knew him.
