Joseph T. Dolan, 67, of Suffield, died August 16, 2005 at Heritage Hall, Agawam, MA after a brief illness. He was born in Springfield, MA, the son of the late Joseph J. and Mary (McCarthy) Dolan. He leaves his wife, AnnMarie (Perry) Dolan of Suffield; a brother Robert Bradley Dolan of West Springfield, MA; two sisters- in-law, Anita Dolan of West Springfield, MA, Eleanor Dolan of Springfield, MA; two nieces, Karen M. Caron of West Springfield, MA, Andrea Wolber of Seattle, WA; two nephews, William J. Dolan of Glastonbury, John Dolan of Sherman Oaks, CA; three great nieces; three great nephews.
Mr. Dolan was a graduate of American International College and Western New England College School of Law in Springfield, MA. Prior to leaving public school teaching to practice law, he taught history for many years at Windsor Locks High School, Windsor Locks. He later taught history at East Catholic High School, Manchester, and most recently he enjoyed substitute teaching in the East Granby public schools.
Family and friends may gather Friday, August 19, at 9:15 a.m. at Nicholson & Carmon Funeral Home, 443 East St. (Rt. 159), Suffield, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church, 68 Mountain Rd., Suffield.
