One of their children Wyatt Adkins was my great great grandfather.

Owen's parents, Owen Adkins, Sr. and Agnes Goad with two of their children were massacred by Indians in 1790 possibly in the Clinch River Valley, Hawkins County, Tennessee then a territory.
