Evelyn G. Wellborn, 72, of Kirksville, Missouri passed away Monday October 29, 2007 at Kirksville Manor Care Center in Kirksville.
The daughter of Paul E. ad Erma M. (Ziegler) Calef, she was born August 23, 1935 in Adair County, Missouri. On April 24, 1954 Evelyn was united in marriage to Weslie Newton Wellborn who preceded her in death on April 7, 1990.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Paul Junior Calef; two sons in infancy; one daughter Norma Scott; one grandson Andrew Easdale and one great-granddaughter, Gwyna Trimble.
Evelyn is survived by two sons, Jeff and Cindy Wellborn of Parker, CO and Gene and Janci Wellborn of Dardenne Prairie, MO; four daughters, Nanette Blackstead of Kirksville, Susan and Larry Olson of Kirksville, Sheila and David Flickinger of LaPlata and Paula and Mark Easdale of Hurdland; two brothers; thirteen grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Evelyn was a graduate from Brashear High School with the Class of 1953. She was a homemaker who loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday November 3, 2007 at the Travis-Noe Funeral Home in Kirksville. Interment will be in the LaPlata Cemetery.
