BOWIE — Ruby Irene Thompson, 100, died Sunday, Aug. 31, 2008, in Houston.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the First Methodist Church of Bellevue with the Rev. Gary Tahmahkera officiating. Burial will be in Bellevue Cemetery under the direction of Heritage Family Funeral Home of Bowie.
Mrs. Thompson was a seamstress.
Survivors include daughter, Bernice Galloway of Houston; son, Fred of Livingston, Texas; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
