Verna A. Jones Walls Morano
of Kutz Home, River Road, Bellefonte, died Sunday in Riverside Hospital. Her age was not disclosed. Mrs Morano was an Receptionist and a telephone operator for Smith-Kline Pharmaceutical Co, New Castle, retiring in 1975 after 25 year's of service. Later she worked as a hostess at Wimington Senior Center for 10 year's, retiring in 1985. Her first husband Harvey H. Walls died in 1952, and her second husband, James Morano, died in 1971. She is survived by a son, Harvey A. Walls of Newark; a daughter, Grace E. Muscelli of Wilmington; five stepdaughters, Elizabeth Smidt, Florence DiGiacoma and Joan Dalgesso, all of Wilmington, Margaret Klosowski of Milford, a brother, James Jones of Albuquerque, N, M; a sister, Mary E. Wiley of Milton; four grand children 24 step grandchildren, and 42 step great grandchildren. Friends may call after 6:30 tomorrow night at Charles P. Arcaro Funeral Home, 2309 Lancaster Ave, Wilmington. Mass of Christian burial will be offered at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. Ninth and Du pont streets, Wilmington. Burail will be in All Saints Cemetery, Kirkwood Hwy. Milltown. Instead of flowers, the family suggests contributions to The Kutz Home, Bellefonte.
