Albert Curtis King,. 75, entered into rest at 10:00 a.m. Sunday, January 19, 1936, after five days illness of double pneumonia and heart trouble. Born in Estill County, November 7, 1860, he made his home in that neighborhood until thirty-eight years ago when he moved to Henry County. Fourteen years ago the family came to Oldham County and settled in LaGrange. He was a member of the New Castle Baptist Church. Mr. King was married in 1901 to Miss Mary Elizabeth Cook of New Castle, who survives him. Other surviving are Powell King, Louisville, the son of his first marriage; one daughter: Miss Hallie King; five grandsons; two sisters: Mrs. Katherine Tuttle, Irvine and Mr. John Tuttle, Lexington.
Services were held at the home on First Avenue Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. Rev. T. E. Ennis was in charge, assisted by Rev. W. B. Garriott. Interment was in the New Castle Cemetery.
