A.D. Graves, 85, of Amarillo died Monday, Sept. 1, 2008.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Christian Heritage Church with the Rev. Casey Dumas officiating. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery by Griggs-Schooler-Gordon Funeral Directors, 5400 S. Bell St.

Mrs. Graves was born June 13, 1923, in Petit Jean Mountain, Ark. She had been an Amarillo resident since 1945, and owned and operated several restaurants. She was loved by many and will be missed by all.

Survivors include a son, Butch McCollum of Amarillo; two daughters, Linda Dumas of Cibolo and Lana Kay Cockrell of Amarillo; 14 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Millie Biggs of Mesquite, Billie Campbell of Phoenix and Reba Jean Hopper of Pangburn, Ark.

The family suggests memorials be to Heritage Convalescent Center, 1009 Clyde St., Amarillo, TX 79106.
