"A funeral service was conducted yesterday in Worcester, Mass., for Miss Saidee F. Riccius of Worcester, a grandniece of Clara Barton.
Miss Riccius died Sunday (Feb. 1, 1959) in Worcester. Burial was in the family plot in North Oxford, Mass., where Miss Barton is buried.
Several years ago Miss Riccius and a brother, Herman gave to the Library of Congress a large collection of material relating to Miss Barton and the early history of the American Red Cross. Miss Riccius had been in close touch with Clara Barton Chapter here for many years, but because of her health was never able to travel to Dansville.
She leaves another brother, Walter, and a sister, Mrs. George King, both of Mt. Vernon, Me."
