Charles Wesley Hebard, was a marble cutter and newspaper owner in Rochester, New York. He also was an abolitionist and a member of the Spiritualist sect. There is no stone on his grave. Lot 63 is marked by four corner stones with the letter "H" on each of them. He was the husband of Mary Satchwell Congdon Hebard, a woman's rights advocate, who worked with Susan B. Anthony. She registered and voted in the Nov 1872 election, for which she was arrested and charged along with Susan B. Anthony. Charles and Mary Hebard lived at 179 Brown St. in 1872.
