Easter (nee Noble) Adams, age 82, of Greenwich, died Friday, September 5, 2008 two weeks after a stroke at the Willard Healthcare Center. She was born in Portsmouth, KY on April 4, 1926 to the late Roscoe and Polly (nee Watkins) Noble, she moved to Rome, OH in 1953 and has lived in the Greenwich area for over 40 years.

She worked for the former Quanex and then Texform in Shelby for 35 years. Easter attended the First Assembly of God, Willard and the Shiloh United Baptist Church. She was a member of the Good Sam Camping Club and a charter member of the Fun Center Sams of Richland county, enjoyed camping for many years. Easter was active with the Food Bank and Senior Citizens group in Willard. She had been a member of the V.F.W. Auxiliary.

Survived by 3 sisters, Geraldine (Lyle) Barre of Mansfield, Sarah Crose of Anderson, SC, Geneva Williams of Townville, SC; 2 brothers, Clay (Delphia) Noble of Shiloh and Troy Noble of Dauphin Island, AL; numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Preceded in death by husband, Bill Adams in 1995, daughter, Willa Ann Sexton, a sister, Lillie Marie Mitchell, 2 brothers, Lawrence and Arthur Noble.

Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Monday, September 8th at Eastman Funeral Home, 49 W. Main St., Greenwich where funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Delmer Bailey officiating. Burial will follow at Rome Presbyterian Cemetery.
