He was born November 5, 1845 in Nauvoo, Illinois to Mary Alice Cannon Lambert and Charles Lambert. He married Mary L. Hovey November 28, 1878. His occupation was farmer.

Interment was made in the Salt Lake City Cemetery on February 21, 1924. S. M. Taylor & Co. handled the funeral arrangements.
