Mrs. E.R. Tarver Dies At Sanitarium Here
Native of South Carolina But Had Resided in Texas Since 1857.
Mrs. E.R. Tarver, 69 years old, died at a San Antonio sanitarium at 10:30 o'clock Saturday night. She was a resident of Seguin, Texas and a native of Marion, South Carolina. The body will be sent to Laredo, Sunday night by the Sloan & Hagy Undertaking Company.

Mrs. Tarver came to Texas in 1857, marrying Captain E.R. Tarver of Seguin in 1869. Later, they removed to Laredo, where they resided until Captain Tarver's death.

She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. A.T. Woodhouse of Raymondville, Texas and Miss Kate Tarver of Seguin and three sons, Legette Tarver in the United States Immigration Service, stationed in San Antonio; E. Rex Tarver of Laredo and B.G. Tarver of El Paso.

Mrs. Tarver was well known in San Antonio, being the aunt of Carlos Bee.
