"Just after I was five years old, my brother, Hubert, took sick with typhoid fever, if I remember right and when he was around 10 years old, he died. Was in May, 1881. He was a very sweet, tender-hearted child and we missed him so much. He is buried in the graveyard at Caldwell, Kansas."
