At her request, no service will be held for Billie Gage, who died Wednesday, Oct. 7, 1998, at age 96.
She was born Sept. 2, 1902, in Kentucky. her maiden name was Marshall. She was a homemaker and had lived in Oregon City since she was 3. She married PETER BAUER, who was killed in World War II. She later married LYLE McCURDY, who died in 1961. She married WALTER GAGE; he died in 1971.
Survivors include a niece, June Dickenson of Portland; a great-nephew, Chuck Dickenson of Portland; and a friend, Lorraine Opal Foster of Oregon City. She was proceded in death by her son, Robert.
Private burial was in Mountain View Cemetery in Oregon City. Hillside Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
