Funeral services for four will be held here at the same time Sunday at 1:30 o'clock at the Methodist church. The bodies of Mrs. Fred Youngs, 35 and her two small sons, James, 2 and William, 4 were victims of a fire which destroyed their frame home Friday in Dayton and Mrs. Albert Hudson, 51, Mrs. Youngs aunt, who died in Celina, will be taken to the church at that hour for final rites. The Rev. L.V. Simms will officiate. Burial will be in the Elmgrove cemetery. (from the Lima News)
The father, Mr. Youngs was severely burned when he went back into the blazing building in an effort to save his wife and two sons who were burned to death in the structure. The third son died two days after receiving the burns and was buried with his mother and brothers at Elmgrove cemetery, St. Marys. The four bodies were in one coffin.
