He is survived by his beloved wife of 50 years, Hatsue, children B.L. Barfield III, Billy Barfield, Aaron Barfield (wife Kristine), Terrie Frey (husband William), as well as six grandchildren, Anastasia, Seth, Trevor, Aidan, Kate, and Joel. Survived by sister Eudena Sewell (husband Kenneth). The family requests that in lieu of flowers please make a donation in his name to Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW). Services will be held at Sacramento Valley VA National Cemetery, 5810 Midway Rd., Dixon 95620 on Friday, Sept. 12th at 10:00 AM
