Dorothy, 91, was born November 17, 1916 in Lithia, FL to Frank and Anna Kuhls. She was welcomed into God‘s Loving arms on August 8, 2008. She was a devote Catholic, loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was an inspiration to everyone who knew her and loved her. Her spirit never wavered even though her body weakened. She attended nursing school in Missouri and went on the serve in the Army Corps of Nurses in Wyoming where she met the love of her life, Ralph. They married August 1, 1945 and later settled in Reno in 1946. Dorothy worked as a nurse at Saint Mary‘s Hospital until 1953. Her family and friends were always her greatest source of joy. Her passion in life was fishing. It didn‘t matter if it was raining or the sun had set over the ice, she was always the last one off the lake.

Dorothy is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Ralph Andreini; daughters, Eileen Morris and Carol (Jack) Baum; grand- children, Joanna and David Morris, Janet and Michael Baum; great-grandchildren, Kylnne, Stargate, Quest and Bailee. She was preceded in death by her parents, seven siblings, and her beloved daughter, Patricia Walls.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 13, 2008 at 10 a.m. at Saint Therese Church of the Little Flower at 875 E. Plumb Lane. A graveside service will follow at Mountain View Cemetery in Reno. A Celebration of her life will be held afterwards at her residence. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
