His siblings were George, Maria Christina, Philip, Martin, Elizabeth, Susanna and Johann Jacob. Michael was first buried in St. John's Lutheran Church Cemetery and later removed to Trinity Lutheran Church Cemetery in Boonesboro, MD. His gravestonne is no longer legible. He married Sophia Elizabeth Schindel 18 May 1802 in Lampeter Twp, Lancaster Co, PA. Their children were Mary, Catharine, Elizabeth, George, Michael, Susanna, David and John.
