Mrs. Hodge was born March 5, 1966, in Clinton, Okla. She was a certified nursing assistant and a member of Greater Mount Zion Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Charles Norwood of Hobart, Okla., and Brian Norwood of Ashdown; two daughters, Felicia Ann Covington and Rafiki Norwood of Ashdown; her stepfather, R.C. Brooks of Ashdown; her stepmother, Louise Norwood; four brothers, Billy Williams of Little Rock, Ricky Norwood and Michael Norwood of Texarkana and John Riley of Ashdown; one sister, Tracy Norwood of New York City; her grandmother, Mary Bell Davis; and a number of other relatives.
Closed casket services were Aug 9th 2008 1:30 p.m. at Greater Mount Zion Baptist Church with the Rev. Eric Nelson officiating. Burial will be in Rhodes Cemetery under direction of Hamburg Funeral Home.
